Thanks, Bob!
As for the "hot spots," according to my histogram, when I set the "Black" and "White" sliders everything fell within the prescribed range. The "hot spots" are not blown out, just optimized. I didn't reduce them further because I actually liked them that way. They lent a certain atmospheric condition to what is my personal aesthetic sensibility.
Again, thanks for your feedback.

First post and first shoot in over a year after dealing with a sceptic hip followed by a hip replacement during that period. Liliana is a French-speaking refugee from the Ivory Coast. Her mother was Black and her father Arabic. A lovely and exotic individual. Shot with a Nikon D750 and an 85mm/1.8. Lighting using a Godox AD200 and 36" octobox.
Beautiful work, Alissa!
Masterful, indeed.
Extraordinary collection!
I love Lake Superior and its environs.
Thank you.
Wonderful set, Mike. Well done!
I'd never seen (or shot) Yosemite in the Fall.
These are beautiful!
Actually, I think everyone has a masculine/feminine and shadow aspect whether they are aware of it, or not. Oftentimes, when that remains unconscious and unintegrated, it is simply "acted out" unconsciously in extreme and exaggerated, dare I say, "perverted" or "twisted" forms of its original manifestation. In many ways, she's the perfect representation of that. In some ways and on some levels, it could be said she's an iconic representation of the current cultural phenomena of the conflict and confusion of and about sexuality and sexual (gender) identity, let alone the relationship and conflict both within and between the sexes -- and the Cause underneath it. What is, if you will the adrogynization of the culture. Her stance -- the Contrapposto stance -- is the posture oftentimes associated with that of an adolescent male. An example would be Michaelangelo's David. Hence, my original comment.
