Many are of the opion that one should not buy anything from ABES, and with good reason.
But I would say it's OK to buy from them as long as you know what you are getting or not getting.
What you are getting is a camera or lens which, if something goes wrong, will not be repaired by the by the manufacturer here in the USA. What you are not getting is the One-Year Warranty.
I have purchased a Sony a6000, saving 15% but without warranty. I took the risk. Been lucky so far.
I would NOT trust the warranty they sell.
Instead of the D7500, why not go for the D7100 or D7200. You can save $150 - $200
Yes, Chris. I meant K-70.
Planning to use it on my trip to Europe in September.
I wonder how many UHHogs are Pentax enthusiasts. I rarely see any Pentax related discussions. Since the dawn of Digital Photography Canon and Nikon, and recently Sony, have dominated the market.
Back in the film days I used Pentax, Nikon, Minolta and Yashica TLR (Twin Lens Reflex). Switching to Digital, I started out with Pentax K100D, then Nikon D7000 and D750.
I have now gone back to Pentax (KS70). I have only the DA 40mm limited and DA 15 mm lenses.
Looking fwd. to suggestions re: Pentax lenses including vintage lenses and your experience with the same.

Talking about pocket size cameras, Has anyone used a Pentax Q/Q10/Q7 ? In spite of the tiny sensor you get very sharp images with good color detail - so I've heard. Any opinions?
Sorry I did not mention where I live.
It's Coral Springs Florida - about 40 miles north of Miami.
Am thinking of going to New England. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I'm a newcomer to UHH. Having retired recently, I'm pursuing my hobby, long neglected. I worked as a graphic artist and did some photography - mainly 35 mm B&W film.
Autumn is round the corner. This year I intend to capture some fall colors. Would welcome suggestions re. best locations. My gear includes Nikon D7000, Sigma 24 mm f1.8, Nikon 50 mm f 1.8 and Tamron 90mm macro.
