What is your problem with that self evident truth?[/quote]
I was trying very hard to not reply. So the person you replied to has the problem? Just because they have a different view? According to Google, there are (roughly) 4200 different religions. So, 4,199 people believe in the wrong God? Science would beg to differ... We evolved from pond scum. We share 93% of our DNA with cows. We are unearthing fossils everyday. Most religions have more detail about the great flood, than the Bible describes. It's a story that keeps getting passed down. When do the fairy tales end and the truth begin? Andy
Nice capture. My son has the same Nikon as I but he never brings it out. He only uses his phone. He gets great shots. But he very seldom prints them. I on the other hand print many 8X10s I frame and mat them and give them away. Im 86 retired 23 years and don't want to deal with the tax man. Don't need the money and I enjoy seeing the happy faces when I give them something for nothing.
I hope I'm in as good as shape as you are when I hit 86! I've seen some very good pictures taken with IPhones! Andy
I know someone who works at Lowe's, and he was talking about how bad many customers are. Women hate to work the registers in the lumber department because of the comments made by men, especially the contractors. They make lewd remarks and try to pick up the women. What's the matter with men? Suppose it was their daughters behind the register?
You can never go wrong underestimating the human race.
It's not just men... The wife and I had our daughter with us at the voting booth, I had to ask 2 women to please try and control their language. Andy
I'm getting better at building long passwords these days, since they want you to have a capital letter, a number, a punctuation mark, a smiley face, Prince's name symbol, and an Egyptian petroglyph in it.
Remember every one of those things plus Dave's comment about making change! How about inkwells and dip pens? Chairs and desks bolted to the floor with lids that lifted up? In the cafeteria milk bottles with cardboard tops with a flap that opened to insert a straw? Steam radiators with wet mittens lined up on them in winter? Slide rulers?
I was just thinking about adding slide rulers!! Brought back some great memories. Andy
Sadly, I'm ashamed to say I am looking at these incredible pictures on my phone. I can't wait to see them on my computer!! Thanks for sharing, fantastic series! Andy
