I am wanting to connect my D7000 to my laptop so that I can view images on screen as I am doing a photoshoot.

What's the best method of doing this? I guess by best (for me) would be the least expensive, but works great! LOL

Many thanks in advance

After a break in our work load here,...I took a long anticipated photography break last evening and at 10 PM,...I went down to the lighthouse for the moon rise at 10:52 PM,...temperature was mild, sky had light clouds on the horizon, was a beautiful blanket of stars, tide was almost full, the sound of waves in the quiet air, the smell the salt water that I love, not a soul anywhere around,........................I stayed there till 2 AM before I left.

Moon rose over Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick, Canada,...10 miles across the Gulf of Maine from Quoddy Head State Park at the base of the lighthouse where my tripod was set.

A gorgeous night of taking images, did some trial painting with light.
Using just a mini flashlight and long exposures I was like a lil kid,...4 hours passed like 10 minutes. Haven't downloaded the files yet,...
Will check them out in the AM.
As a matter of fact,.....
Am going beddie byes,.... right now as a matter of fact. ;-(
It's zzzzzzzzzzzzzz time for this guy.
G'night,...make that... morning

I just received my copy of PS CS5 on friday and am understanding why everyone says there is a huge learning curve!
I have a question for the group and would greatly appreciate advice or pointed to the right direction to learn. I am trying to replace the background on one photo, with another. I have read a bunch of tutorials and youtube videos. My question is this. How do I get both photos to be open in the layers panel at the same time? All the videos etc show how to replace the background, but I am unable to find any information on the first basic steps to get started doing the replacement. All of them start with PS already open and both of their photos in the layers panel. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, Talon, I tried your post and I like it. I made the three copies like the tutorial and then treated them as if they were all raw images. I hit file-automate-merge to HDR.

I just read an article on how to add some life and contrast to a dull photo by using HDR. The photo must be shot in raw.
Here is the link. It was quite interesting.

If anyone lives in Indiana, should go to Abates Boogie Fest! It is on private property and well, it is an adventure and photographic paradise....of sorts... hahaha
