Adding Contrast through HDR with 1 raw photo

I just read an article on how to add some life and contrast to a dull photo by using HDR. The photo must be shot in raw.

Glad you enjoyed. I have, in the past, had photos that I just could not make "pop" like I wanted. I am interested in trying this approach myself!

Hey, Talon, I tried your post and I like it. I made the three copies like the tutorial and then treated them as if they were all raw images. I hit file-automate-merge to HDR.
