I took some pictures of the transit as well but I didn't have my focal reducer yet so I couldn't get the sun entirely in the frame.

Hello Rich,
Thanks for the compliments on my photos. I checked out your work and you are the talented one. Nice art work. I just attach my camera to the back of my telescope. It's mounted on a equatorial mount so it stays tracking if proper polar alignment is achieved. I take 3 to 4 minute photos and stack them. I use post processing but I'm still very new to the hobby so still learning. We are neighbors I also live in Northridge.

Nice pics of your grandson and the moon. I thought the nice thing about being grandparents is you can spoil them and send them back to their mom and dad. Cute kid.

No worries grw100. I took without a tripod spur of the moment. I've since upgraded to dslr photography and try and plan my shots better. Constructive criticism should be welcomed, without it one may never learn.
