I just realize I meant the 4th photo could be made to look like it was in focus with just a few adjustments using photoshop ,sorry about that

Yes, I have photoshop 9 but haven't used it in awhile and I only know how to do a few things on it. I used Picasa so I could put them up faster. I had surgery recently so I'm playing with my photos while recuperating.

What a beautiful grandchild. You're priorities are always right when you spend time with your grandchildren. #2 and #4 are ready to frame on your wall. Thanks for sharing.

I'm definitely framing #2. I wanted to a set of the first one and the ones I put later of the kiss. I'm going to have to try again on that at another time. Thank you. I'm trying because his dad is in the airforce and I don't know where they will go next.

In the first photo, the background is a bit blown out; but that is not the point. The child's expression is perfect and takes over the whole shot in my opinion. I like it. The second shot is also very nice. I love the half smile and the eyes. I like them both.

I agree. It's funny the first one is of him blowing a kiss not fussing. These aren't that great but lead up to the expression. The second was just him smiling at Gramma. :D

first picture then this

I had to crop the last one because of some blur and now it seems all head (well, it is) :) but I couldn't figure out anything else to do. Any ideas?

These were not planned out but I thought they turned out ok especially since they were from my Samsung Galaxy. Haven't been on in awhile because I've been either with this little sweety or ill. Tell me what you think.

I was going to crop this to hopefully take out some of the brightness but the expression was too cute.

just my sweetheart.

This guy was on my door.

Cropped but I love the angelic look on his spunky self.

Did you actually do this video? This is the third time I've seen it on other sites and wondered who was so lucky as to have that experience.

I spent years in law enforcement. As I was eating lunch with a friend of mine (Black man who was not law enforcement) he commented to me, " There are two kinds of people in this country. There are American citizens and there are N****, and your color has nothing to do with which one you are!". It's a shame more of us don't see this.

I don't usually get into these discussions but I said something similar to that not long ago to my mother in law when we were talking about the South and slavery, etc. An elderly black lady had said something to my mother in law about (my ma in law) having a white lady cleaning her house and how bad that was. I thought then about the mind set from that time and it was just sad and Don't call her "Miss Jessie". :-)

Thanks, everybody. I haven't been on much since last year. Seeing this one every chance I get. I only have tons pictures since then. I'm going to put some of my favorites on today. He's a little over 1 yr. old and even cuter, though I may be a little prejudice. :)

That is a Jasmine plant, however it is only in bloom for a short time. If you want to attracted them all spring and summer long plant a few cannas plants, the love them! Our's have not yet bloomed but once they do the hummers will be over in that part of the yard a lot. I also have feeders for them. Congrats on your eye surgery, my husband was legally blind about 10 years ago when he had laser surgery done and what a difference it made for him so I understand the "new eyes". :-)

I'm like you about the shutter bug and I was really learning (I got a Canon t3i) but when my cataracts started growing so fast I got discouraged, so I'm getting ready to jump back in there. Thanks for the info on the plants too.

Had a little humming bird visit our yard today, did not seem to mind my presence much at all.

Those are great! I'd like to know what shutter speed also. I put mine on 1600 and got a few today. I'm trying out one of my new eyes. I got cataract surgery on one eye in Feb. and getting the other one done in 3 days. I'm so excited because I got corrective lenses and the first one did great. I'm looking forward to catching up this summer. What kind of plant is that? I have a feeder but would love to have a plant they like.
