That is one small hard drive. As long as it has a spot for your thumb drive that will work

RRS provides the BH-55 with leveling bracket.

The question concerned an L bracket, not a ball head.

I use Kirk brackets and they do not include a leveling device

It will depend on whether it is a jury trial or not. Most judges will rule where the money is not where the justice would be.

I think you are all wet about that. Most judges will rule where the Law is, as they are charged to do, which is not necessarily where Justice is.

I personally avoid purchasing from foreign vendors (particularly Asian) because of possible import duties (can be as high as 8 to 10%).

I have purchased several bodies, lens, filters, etc. from Asian sellers, on eBay, and have never, ever been charged an import duty. As a general rule, if you bother to look it up, used photo equipment is exempt from import duty.

Having said that I have purchased repeatedly, and almost always previously used equipment, without difficulty. Ebay has a great buyer protection plan

Agree 100% with this part. I might add that in general, equipment I've purchased from Asian sellers is accurately described and in cleaner condition that that purchased from most individual domestic sellers. They rival KEH in description accuracy and condition.

Excellent feedback is really important. Ask questions such as "does it function perfectly, any blemishes" etc.

Again, I agree

Cliff, the only reason I wrote what I did is that so many people start with the supposition that dpi equals ppi. Hell, I know it's not that simple. But if you can afford the ink, print at 1200dpi. It will take a microscope to tell the difference under perfect conditions. Factor in paper type (high rag bleeds), viewing distance (I had to view The Mona Lisa at about two meters, and it's not that large!) and quality of printer and ink, and the only way to tell the best printing resolution is by trial and error. FWIW, I printed an 8 X 10 on super-gloss paper at 600 dpi and it took it three days to dry - and it looked like a child's watercolor at that!

None of which addressed his question which concerned scanning resolution for display on his TV. Read, or re-read the OP.

Why not experience the best film camera? Ironically, Nikon had hoped that shooting with film would go on alongside digital and produced their best professional camera, the F6. This camera looks and handles completely different from anything else in the film world, it's literally impossible to take a bad picture with it. As of this writing, I have not seen anyone recommending it and I am surprised. I haven't checked lately, but I would be willing to bet that you could get it now for much less than the original price of $2000 (B@H in 2008). I have one and I love it and a friend of mine has two (I could ask him if he would part with one).

The F6, depending on condition, is 2 to 6 times the price, on eBay, I paid for the F5. Please explain, if you can, where you gain that much value by purchasing an F6.

BTW, there is no such thing as a camera that cannot take a bad picture.

Love my Nikon F5. Picked it up from KEH for right at $300. Looks and operates like new. The big positive is it uses all my Nikon and Sigma lens. Great camera.

I don't know what system you are using, however, I use the Lee filters which are 4" x 6". The case I use is LEE Filters Multi Filter Pouch! B&H sells it for $45.00. It isn't small, but it carries all of my filters and fits into my camera bag. I do have a problem if I don't want to take the bag with me, but want the filters. At that point, I look for something with big pockets. No, the holder does not fit in the case with the filters. I keep the holder and mounting ring in the case it came in, again in the camera bag.

Maybe someone else has a great idea for transporting and using these big filters, I'll keep watching your post.

A "L" bracket fits on the camera and allows you to quickly change the orientation of the camera from landscape to portrait. A "L" bracket is a convenience, not a requirement.

If the lens has a tripod collar, definitely use it.
