We dock our boat on the Okeechobee Waterway in Florida when we are not in the Bahamas. This is a picture taken off the back of the boat... that's my view out of the windows. This had to be at sunset - I don't get up early enough for it to be at sunrise!
Picture taken in Tallinn, Estonia of a graveyard during the day. Canon 40D back in the day when it was set to 'Automatic' - I've since learned to be the one in control of my camera.
Processed with Topaz Adjust - set to Dark-Ghostly which I felt showed the feeling of a graveyard.

a couple more photos of my drive on the Burr Trail. These are untouched photos - the actual 'Nature' colors you will see along this road. One of my favorite drives to show to visitors.

Beautiful colors and the reflections are luscious.
How did you create your avatar image?
I cropped a headshot out of a larger photo of myself and with Elements I used a Topaz Clean 'Cartoon' filter on it using their default settings.
Waiting in the Lucayan Waterway for calm seas for our crossing back to Florida.
The Lycayan Waterway is a man-made canal (sea-walled) cutting through the Grand Bahamas island. Great anchorages within it.

That sunset is just amazing!!
That's pretty much a nightly occurrence in the Bahamas... I'm glad I got to capture some of them.
Mountain view is halfway up the Burr Trail switchbacks. Although there is a warning sign that trailers are not recommended, we were in an extended cab dually (pickup) pulling a 20' flatbed trailer with 4-4wheelers. I swear at times I could see the trailer on a lower portion of the road we just left. FABULOUS Scenery!
Sunset is just off Big Major's Spot (Pig Beach) in Exuma, Bahamas

Sunset in the Bahamas
I've got some great places to take photos - on the water in the Bahamas in the winter and south western Utah (mountains) in the summer close to Bryce Canyon. I'm looking forward to checking out all the postings on the site - I'm sure I will learn a lot !
