I agree. I've been on a balloon ride before and it was great. The number of people that the basket holds is the main concern. My wife is afraid of heights and even she went up in one.

I would check out the vendors. A few years ago my wife and I were in Sedona on vacation. We were headed west towards a place to ride horses. We saw one of these hot air balloons and it had a huge basket with a lot of people in it. It could not stay up. It was interesting to see in a kind of weird way. I felt sorry for the people in the basket.

And they are safer. We had a Honda Pilot and a lady ran a red light at 40 miles per hour and hit us on the side towards the rear of the vehicle. My wife and son were on that side of the car and are still in physical therapy (it was about three months ago). I was on the passenger side and consider myself blessed that I was okay. I have been dealing with pain issues for 35 years after someone ran a red light and broadsided me in a Toyota Corolla. It basically destroyed my car and broke my neck. I was lucky it didn't paralyze or kill me.

So don't be so degrading about some of the SUVs. They are not the huge pickups that some drive.

Hiking in any wild area can be dangerous. I've been hiking in Utah since I was a young kid. All I've run into was a moose and although he was just walking the same way I was he was huge. You wouldn't want to mess with him. I think the story is overblown.

Your information about Joseph Smith and the Angel Moroni is wrong. In 1820, God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ told him that he should join none of the existing churches. In 1823, the Angel Moroni told him about the "Gold Plates" that were buried in a hill nearby. Joseph was not allowed to take the plates for about another four years. In 1830 he published the Book of Mormon that contains what he translated from the plates. He was told later to form the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which was done April 6th, 1830.
