Personally I use 300 ppi.... mostly because the math is easier and I can do it in my head! That 5x7" print mentioned above needs to be 1500x2100 pixels.
"Dpi" is a printing term. "Ppi" is a digital term. They are often used interchangeably... though technically they aren't. I wouldn't worry about it."
Thanks Bob for clarifying something for me. I never realized it was just arithmetic to print. I will have to play with your math formula next time I print. Sincerely, Bill
Yes, Lightroom Classic has lots of folder naming and location options. You can set up a default routine or create new, named folders. There are also renaming and folder moving options.
I'll have to take a look, Ive never tried it before. Might be easier. Thanks BS.
Glad you found them. What do you think of the A7Rii video quality?
Hi BS,
It was a poor test. I was capturing my nephew surfing. Weather was cold, he was out too far and it was the best of days. I will have to try it out again now that I know how to do it and where to find the files. I actually was trying to pressing the shutter release to start recording. Did not realize there was a button on side of camera for that purpose! Appreciate the help.
What are you using on your computer to look for the videos. In the Sony system, the video clips are buried a little deeper in the card folder structure. They are not where the photos are.
I found them BS, you are right they are buried where you normally wouldn't go looking. Doesn't make any sense to me.

Thanks BS. I was looking at the files where the pics are. I dont even see nay other areas where they might be but Ill take a look again. Thats kind of silly to bury it somewhere.
I used my Sony A7Rii camera today to shoot video. When I look at the camera the clips are there, when I remove the card and try to process o the computer, they are not. Any ideas? Appreciate the help as always. Tks, Bill
