Look again.
For in reality it's just the opposite.
Then make the right brain work and you will see that it's the boy who is sitting and wearing a black polo.
The girl has her arms around the neck of the boy and wearing blue jeans!
Not convinced about this then who has hair on his arms and legs?
Pretty special, isn't it!

We all have two cerebral hemispheres that constantly interact but each have specific functions.
The left hemisphere breaks down problems and analysis.
The right hemisphere is interested in everything and innovates.
The ideal is to foster communication between the two brains.
But our education, or our temperament, we sometimes leads to favor one of these two areas.
This predominance determine different ways of thinking about life.

The person sitting in the chair has hairy legs. That settles it. The guy is sitting in the chair.

I use to work in a refinery that had 650,000 barrels of crude oil going through it everyday (24/7) and your chances of being checked out by the local police was normal if you stopped to take pictures. You would also get back ground checked right there. Refineries, chemical plants, and a electrical power plants are all very dangerous places to work. If you are a employee working in one of those places and they get bomb threats, they are going to be vigilant. The people you are calling wingnuts are the plant security folks watching you from their video cameras inside the plants and they are just doing there job.

From what I read on the web this is usual honeybee behavior when the temperature gets in the 50s (it has been for the last few days) and there are no flowers yet. I guess the dust from the degraded cracked corn in the bird food is what they are after. I had never noticed such behavior before this last week or so ergo I thought I would share.

Growing up as a Nebraska farm boy, we would leave a 100 bushel wagon of ground up ear corn for feed between the feed bunks for the cattle that were fed twice a day. It was common to see the honey bees crawling around the ground up corn like it had nectar in it so it probably did. The wagon being in the sunshine may have played a role in it also. We also had four sets of bee hives a couple 100 yards away from the cattle lot. The bees will go after the nectar wherever they can find it.

Have you also noticed that these 15 and 20 year predictions are now 100 year predictions or more? That way none of us will be around to see if this batch of fortune telling comes true like it hasn't for everything else they have predicted. They can enjoy their government grants and pushing their progressive agenda and will not have to answer to anyone, because they will be dead by then. What a s**m.

You just hit the nail on the the head. Keep hitting it.

I don't know what it will take to convince some folks that the climate is changing, changing for the worse unfortunately. Here in New York City and it's almost mid-January, the temp yesterday reached the high sixties (F) in some places. We haven't had any snow yet this winter and it has been unsually mild. I'm guessing that somewhere else they are experiencing an unusually severe winter. This article, while a bit long-winded is pretty informative. The economic cost and the human suffering attributable to weather extremes is enormously consequential.

Stop worrying about things we have no control over. In 2004 I had 22.25" of rain. In 2015 I had 97.5" of rain. So what, every year is different and there is nothing you can do about. Real scientist have said there hasn't been any g****l w*****g the last 19 years but political scientist will tell you otherwise. Which do you want to believe?

Your writing could leave a person believing there never ends up being a dead good guy with a gun, or more dead innocents due to a good guy with a gun. Persons using or keeping a gun for personal protection should be required to use the right ammunition. Using magnums in densely populated areas should be outlawed. Years ago I shot both a .357 and a 45 into phonebooks. A 45 will only go halfway through 1 1973 Sacramento phonebook. A .357 will go through 2+. You should have to shoot something in cities that will not k**l or injure someone several houses away.

Good points. Good judgement should always be used if you ever happen to be in a spot where you may have to defend yourself. Every situation is different. I know a local policeman who prefers the 10mm Glock instead of the 9mm for more knock down power. I think he said the 9 is faster. What's better in a densely populated area? I don't know.

The guns you mentioned I would use in the woods where I'm not on top of the food chain.

I am asking as rationally as I can. What is the American fascination with guns? Why do so many of you believe it is necessary to have multiple guns? What is the rationalization for semi-automatic weapons?
I would like to hear intelligent rational explanations and no sarcasm or nastiness will come from me on this thread as long as you guys observe that too.

I've been gone for a while so I may be late to the conversation.

How do stop a bad guy with a gun? Simple, be the good guy with a gun.

If a murdering rapist is kicking down your front door, what is the best way to defend yourself? You will be a victim if you call 911 and wait for police to come and defend you.

We are very lucky we live in the USA and have the right to defend ourselves and the choice of the weapon is yours. If you live in a high crime neighborhood you may need more choices for weapons for self defense.

Strange - Muslims around the world - in UK and USA and elsewhere - seem bent on telling us how to live - like their planning application to build a Mosque in London to be three times the size of St Pauls Cathedral. Is that in itself not a signal of what might follow?

I can't speak for the UK but the leaders of the USA are sticking their heads in the sand, even after what just happen in Paris. Elections matter. Elect leaders who are committed to protecting their people. Letting people from all over the world migrate to your country who can't speak your language and understand your life style, don't want to simulate, is short sighted and stupid.

It is true that only 7% of the Germans were members of the Nazi party. But how did the Nazis get into power in the first place?

"In the 1932 elections, the Nazis won 33 percent of the votes, more than any other party. In January 1933 Hitler was appointed chancellor, the head of the German government, and many Germans believed that they had found a savior for their nation."

Low information voters allowed Nazis to take over. People who don't know the history will make the same mistakes. The USA has the same problem and hopefully we are smarter than that. As our population gets dumber we are more susceptible to be led by corrupt leaders. Its happening right now.

Uhh, what year did the Nazis take over?

Only about 7% to 8% of the Germans were actually Nazis. Why let a minority of people tell the rest of them how to live? We don't need that in the USA.

Where I live our local police like people with concealed handgun licenses. The more the better. This puts criminals at a disadvantage and discourages them from being stupid.
