I'm just curious what most of you use when you grill outside. I've been using a propane grill for years, but the cost of propane - and nostalgia - has me inclined to go back to charcoal. One tank of propane would cost more than a season's worth of charcoal.

I use electric.

I sold my D610 on ebay, sort of. When I contacted the winner, he said that he thought he was outbid. His name was at the top of the list, but he still wasn't sure. I'm working for the next eight days, so it's hard for me to deal with this in a timely manner. He finally accepted that he was the winner, but he wants me to take a picture to verify the shutter count. The camera is packed neatly in the Nikon box, inside another box, and inside the mailing box. I'm not unpacking everything. So, he would like me to send him the last picture I took. I'll have to find that tonight when I get home from work. He also wants to know if I can send it to the Czech Republic!

This is going to drag out for days, but I've never had an experience quite like this on ebay - after 463 transactions. On two occasions, people did not pay, so I had to relist or sell to the next bidder in line.

You don't have to deal with that. Turn it over to ebay and let them handle it. You might tell the buyer what you are going to do, that might stimulate him in to doing the right thing. :) :)

If you have an IPhone or an android cell phone there is a neat little app called The Cornell lab MERLIN, a bird ID app. Easy to use with nice features, pictures and bird songs and calls.

available on Google PlayStore or Itunes

Thanks Bangee5. I'll check it out. :)

Does anyone know what birds are these? Two are the same bird. Both are sparrow size.

I didn't have my favorite camera for this shot. It happened too fast. Still it's a good shot.

The “X” in “Xmas” Doesn’t Take the “Christ” Out of “Christmas”

Myth: “Xmas” is a non-religious name / spelling for “Christmas”.
It turns out, “Xmas” is not a non-religious version of “Christmas”. The “X” is actually indicating the Greek letter “Chi”, which is short for the Greek, meaning “Christ”. So “Xmas” and “Christmas” are equivalent in every way except their lettering.
