Only had one fail in 15 years and that was due to static electricity, saw a spark as I pulled the card from my computer and that was it. I shoot over 3000 shots a year,no other problems.

We have found FedEx to be very unreliable. Just last week they claimed to have delivered an item to our front porch - we live in the middle of the woods and there is no way it would have been stolen (it still hasn't been located)! They have left expensive computer equipment at the bottom of our 1000' lane as well as an order which was left at an abandoned property a quarter mile from us. We have begun requesting that orders be sent via UPS - we've never had a problem with them.

I live in a complex of garden style apartments, because of the security of the buildings all deliveries ate too go to the central office and clubhouse. There isn't really much of a covered entrance to the buildings. I recently had Fed-Ex drop my package, a computer part, on the side walk in the rain. When I complained they said the driver tried to leave it with the office but they refused it. When I asked the facility manager manager, she said they never stopped. I now use strictly USPS or UPS.

I tend to disagree, the Note 8 had a"pro" mode that rivals my Nikon. I am getting ready to perform an experiment. I will take 2 shots of the same subject, one with my Note 8 and one with my Nikon d3200 and post it here. Then you decide.

I too used to love film photography, I have switched to digital, but I don't consider it "cheating ",not if typy still take the time to compose your shot. Challenge yourself, shoot in full manual mode. You'll find it is like shooting a film camera. You'll find it rewarding. Just my thoughts anyway

As somebody who has been taking images since 1980 with a Canon A1 film camera and lately with a Canon 7Dii and 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM lens. Ihave been taken more images with my iPhone 7 and been very pleased with the outcome. I have 'procamera' on my phone and I'm surprised how much alterations you can do on it after taking the image in 'Raw' format.
I would like your views on this subject.

I have the same quandary, I now have the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the pictures it is capable of its remarkable. I still love walking about with Nikon d3200, but for those spontaneous shots I love it. Sometimes you are somewhere where a real camera is just not practical, nor is it allowed with today's security measures.

I had a similar problem, turned out Windows 10 did not recognize the Nikon software installed. Same deal, older computer, upgraded to windows 10. I had to go to Nikons site and install 2 patches and an update. All is well now. (I was for awhile reduced to downloading my photos to me tablet)

I think the Zebra was made from Lego Building Blocks.

You are 100% right, there was a Lego show here this weekend aND there were numerous displays throughout. I wanted to see who would catch it.

Very pretty - but - seeing all that ice on the pier(?) I wonder if you weren't taking your life and camera in your hands as you walked the icy path.

I thought the same thing as I walked out there. That's what long glass is for.
