reviewing 2 TB SSD has a price variation due to SSD life time rating, and the read and write speed of the SSD. Check out OWC- other world computing as they cater to the MAC for accessories and SSDs. The staff is helpful. I have purchased several SSDs from them and wish I had purchased the thunder blade

PS. Western Digital has several grades of SSDs and the speed correlates well to the price.-----over rather than under estimate the space you will need.

I use SSD to copymy photocard from camera--thenprocess the PICS getting rid of garbageand then writing the keepers to another storage drive.
