I've been shooting since the early 70's and got so used to motor drives on my Nikons thru the years that I don't feel comfortable without one or now days a battery pack and for me who shoots a lot of verticals it's a blessing. I even put one on my D40x while the D2H, D3 and D4 don't need them.

Go to EBay's SOLD listings and see what similar cameras and lenses sold for and you'll get an idea. Look at several add up what they sold for then divide by how many you have and get an average price. I hope this helps. Good Luck !!!

SOLD !!!This is my "casual package" that I took with me when I didn't need the FX gear. It's a Nikon D40x camera with grip so I could get the double battery power plus the better feel of the camera. I've always had motor drives or grips so I'm used to that feel. It comes with an updated 18-55 VR lens and fairly new 55-200 VR lens that is still in warranty bought from Beach Camera. Both have Nikon 52mm L 37c filters and Nikon lens hoods for protection and glare along with both caps and the pouch. 4 Nikon batteries, a Tri-Star circular polarizer and 6x cross filter, Nikon ML-L3 remote commander ( never used needs battery ), battery charger, manual, strap, 2gb SD card and a Nikon camera bag. Shutter count is 7,517. USA model bought at Wolf camera in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. When I say like new it really is. Their is not a mark on the camera, grip or lenses. Ready to go !! Yes if you overworked it with rapid fire and didn't turn off the thermal cut out it would shut down until it cooled off or until you put in another set of cool batteries. This is not uncommon with flash units. I was working a wedding with a gal shooting Canon who was shooting very fast and hers shut down. I gave her a set of new batteries and she was good to go. My buddy has two 900's and uses them with Quantum Turbo battery packs and never has a problem. Of course he doesn't shoot with a motor drive firing all the time. Electronics......don't overdue it and you're fine. Thanks for the inquiry.
