As a professional aerial photographer for many years, I hold the Camera, with someone else at the controls, Seldom slower shutter than 1000, don't touch any part of the aircraft, open a window and off you go!

Photography is a lovely life but up until now learning was only through searching the internet, which is excellent but impersonal & reading everything I could get my hands on. A forum like this is like a big family all willing to help, I love it.

Hi all, this sure is a great forum, I'm enjoying reading & learning new things regarding photography & cameras.
If holding the camera in your right hand & holding the lens in your left hand, your thumb is right beside the lens removal button on any Canon or Nikon camera.
