Canon also has refurbished cameras and lens at times. After seeing so many problems I think that is where I will make my purchase of a new camera,

A weed is anything that grows where you don't want it. So this is a flower and a very pretty one. Love the color.

I have no idea how that background occurred. There were actually trees, sky, and outdoor stuff. Technical term. I just shot fast without checking settings as birds aren't know for cooperation. I have some humming bird shots to prove that point. Nice to know about the glass though. In the days of film I wouldn't have wasted the medium, so digital is great.

Hey, I got it right. It's a bird. Lol. I feed them and have all species. I found one in a rose bush a few years ago. He had one feather on his head. Raised him until he migrated in the fall. I have no idea what he was either, except a bird. I was happy to get that much through 2 panes of glass.

Walking through my kitchen I noticed this little Sparrow sitting on the railing. The second photo was actually first and when he got tired of me I caught him in liftoff position, first photo. I had just picked up my camera to put it away when I saw the bird. All fluffed up and sleeping. I had to shoot this through one of the double panes of glass in the door. Didn't expect much going through the glass, but got more then I thought I would. I cropped out the door frame and the hour glass curtain. Otherwise I left it alone.

The cat looks like it is eying up dinner. What a great shot.

I think it goes with Canon also in that they allow their name to be sullied by this company. Most large companies won't tolerate that. I'm actually a bit more leery of canon at the moment. Checking out the Nikon camera. Ryther is using the Canon name and reputation to draw people into their scheme.

The rating I saw was in the 8 range.

Canon is a known entity and has a serious reputation. How can they allow this to continue?

I have to wonder why they are allowed to continue selling! Even the BBB doesn't come right out and say stay away. What they did say is that they have too many complaints registered for the amount of time they have been in business. I think it was 33. Companies, like this one, make it difficult to do business on the Internet.
Thank you for replying.

Well I took the advice and Googled it. You can indeed get that camera at Ryther for that price. Maybe! Some have and were happy. Bottom line is there is a great deal of up selling, at high prices. Most likely gray market with no warranty unless you upgrade. For that price range I want my damn camera. As ordered. No upsell. Yes to the warranty. And don't give me a headache.

Where is an excellent, safe place to purchase with no shades of gray? I made a purchase from B&H but it was only for paper.

I could use a little advice. I am thinking of purchasing a Canon EOS 5D Mark III - Body Only. Ryther has it for $2289. I know next to nothing about Ryther. Has anyone done any business with them? Any opinions on the camera?

Hard to believe anything so beautiful is poisonous. Thanks for looking. I can't believe I got that much out of it. Almost no photoshopping either. Sometimes the luck is with you.
