I still shoot fim!!!
One reason is my 1945 SpeedGraphic doesn't have a digital back
the other is that is my preference
the third is my emotional tie to film that I have been shooting since about 1953

I disagree with you
i shoot almost exclusively 120 kodacolor in my mamiya 645 and my sinar 4x5(with a 120 adapter)
I have been shootinf ilm since 1953 and will continue to do so until I can no longer hols the camera

You should not be depressed - were your pics well displayed? were there comparable pics by other artists? was the show well attended? did you try putting a "sold" sticker on one or two of your prints?

I am not depressed. I am merely stating what I believe to be fact as applied to me

Van Gogh committed suicide at age 35. I have come to appreciate his dilema. He was creating fabulous art work and nobody was buying it. Having struggled with the same issues most of my life I relate to him. NO I AM NOT contemplating suicide. What I see is the frustration of working your heart out to create a work of art and having no-one place a valid monetary value on it. I have come to the conclusion that if you don't do it for the pleasure of creating it you are kidding yourself.
Your comments are welcome

i have three cameras that I use and I have specific uses for each. I will probably never buy another camera.
I have a 1947 Speed graphic 4X5 which I use with a 6x9 120 roll fim adapter; a Canon T5i which I use the most because it also does video; and a 4x5 sinar monorail view camera which I use with a 120 roll film adapter.
I am totally satisfied with these and donot feel the necessity to go with every new iteration of camera that hits the market

That is probably so but due to some issues I have had with 24x36 inch prints thata degree of saturation works best for me. Thank you for your comment

That is possible. However this is the way I see it so all things considered I think I will leave it as it is
I appreciate the comments generated on this forum as they frequently help me as I pursue further projects

If you will notice there are two finger like cloud formations on the right side of the picture. they are to draw the viewer's eye back to the Rock
the greenery is so constructed as to imply the rock is leaping up from it.
The highlite on the clouds to the left of the picture are to pull the eyes of the view back toward the main focus of the picture.
The clouds surrounding the top of the rock simulate a crown to further enhance the image
It took me about 8 hours of editing to arrive at this conclusion

This is another composite I created from three images I captured.
They are 1-the green foreground
2- Bell rock
3- the clouds
I thought that this was a better landscape than any of the three separately
I hope you all like it
