I have it on a canon T3i. I use it a lot. Easy to carry on hikes and image quality is goodand sharp for me. It's focus is fast and it was affordable for me. Hope this helps.
I have the 10-20mm f4-5.6 on my t3i and get great results. Sharp images and alot of fun with some close ups. Careful with a polarizer on it, it gets a little weird in the sky color.
I had the 16-300 but it was not sharp enough for my liking on the 300 end, so I returned it and took the 70-300 Tamaron home and am very happy with it for less money, go figure. Hope this helps.
I like it. Definitely alot of bird body language here. Wish the lighting could have been onthe other side of the bird, but they are hard to predict which way they are going to go. I have learned some good pointers from Arthur Morris, Birdsasart.com. he has some utube videos on how he does his set up. I sure dont have his gear, but the technique are very useful. Good shot.
The manfrotto 055pro or the newer 190pro3 may be more versatile for macro. It comes in carbor or aluminum. Its my next planned purchase. I like the idea of the center column eextending on a parallel plane. I have the t3i set up also.so the wieght is not a issue. Hope this helps.
I had the 16-300, but found it to soft at 300 for my liking. Traded it back and got the 70-300 that I'm very happy with, and saved couple hundred bucks with the trade.
Great shot! The wing tips are so cool!
Im with you, I miss the flowers and hummingbirds.
The second one is my favorite, then third, then first. I agree about the emotion portrayed here I don't know how you did that so no comment on the process, but thank you for sharing..
Early Christmas, Santa brought a Tamron 70-300 because he new I would need that on the Florida trip I was getting ready to take. It was awesome.
Nice catch! We have them but very allusive.
