Have not posted in a while, but I just took this picture yesterday. I was playing around with shutter speeds and apertures. And a little bit editing.

These are wonderful shots. The detail in them tell a great story. I do have a question, though. Did you have to get permission from the individual participants to post their photos? I am experimenting with street photography and I am not sure of what to do with my shots.

Your shots are great! Hawaii is a wonderful place to experiment with a new camera. I also have a D3100 and am working on learning the features. I am going to look into the 18-270mm lens.

I like 1 and 3. The colors in 1 are sharp and the setting draws the eye right to it. That being said, I like 3 because the landscape in the background gives the car a context.

I agree. I like the image of the biker and his motorcycle the best. The photo of the soldiers on the march is awesome.
