sinatraman, I'm glad you posted what so many were thinking. My daughter was abused by a boyfriend, from age 17-20. Thank God she broke free 4 years ago, but I had the same horrible feeling in my gut when I read the post about her husband. I can only hope the support of these posts will help give her strength.
There are probably local rescues for either of the breeds he has in him that will take him. I rescued from a dashchund rescue & they had a chihuahua mix and some other mixes at the foster home also. It's worth a try.
I had a fawn colored one for five years, named him Peanut. He did well on the race track, was 4 1/2 before they let him go to be adopted.Very sweet dogs.
I am new to digital SLRs and have a nikon D5100. I'd like to be able to take close up pictures of honey bees for a bee keeper friend of mine. Which is the best way to go? Micro or macro lens? At this point I am still using fully automatic settings.
