How does the Sony HX-99 compare to the RX 10 in low light?
I've had a Panasonic Lumix FZ300 for several years. I have been very happy with it. Its main shortcoming as far as I am concerned is that it is not great in low light situations. My old Nikon with interchangeable lenses got too heavy for my ailing back, and this is very light weight.
Thank you so much for the information! Very helpful.
Thank you so much. I found it!
I just started subscribing to PS and LR. Where do I find the remove tool in PS? Thanks.
Got it! Thank you very much.

When I spoke to a B & H salesman, he said that the telephoto lenses for the iPhone were kind of gimmicky, not real good quality.
I had a problem with Panasonic FZ300 freezing. Turned it off and on multiple times, removed battery multiple times, finally did camera re-set. Nothing helped, so I ended up buying a new camera. It was a few years old, so I figured trying to repair an intermittent problem would cost as much as a new camera.
I haven't bought a brand new battery, although I have used 3 different batteries.
I did the full camera re-set. The next day I went out shooting, and the camera froze again. I didn't even get the message to turn off the camera and turn it back on again. I couldn't turn it off. I had to remove the battery. Now my dilemma is whether to just buy another FZ300, which I like and have all the accessories for, or spend a LOT more money and get the Sony RX10 IV.
I don't think the batteries were heated up as it was a very cool day and I had only taken a few shots. I have also been rotating different batteries. I have resigned myself to copying down all my settings and trying a reset. Thanks for suggestions.
Thanks for your suggestions. I don't have any reason to think the battery is heating up. I have been reluctant to try the complete reset as then I will lose all of my settings.
I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ300 which is intermittently freezing--won't focus or zoom in and out. I get a message to turn off camera and then turn it on again. Nothing happens. I try again. Nothing happens. I take out battery and replace it. Nothing happens. Sometime later--sometimes minutes, sometimes longer--everything works fine. This is happening more and more frequently. Any idea what is going on? I don't want to send it in for repair because if it is an intermittent problem, they might not get it to act up and will just charge me and say everything is fine. Is it time to upgrade to Sony RX10IV?
