Wow! Thanks for sharing this beautiful image Bob. And how you did it. Sounds like lots of work. I only have Elements; but that is enough for me.
Glad to see others work at getting the effect they want and not just straight shooting. Although I do realize that straight can also be the best interpretation.
I'll have to send a soft image of a flower I printed on linen-like cloth to see what others think. I think it gives an even softer, dreamy effect.
Thanks again. I'll have to look for ChromaRoll.
I just goggled it. Can't wait ti try it! I have "played" with regular kitchen aluminum foil ironed to freezer paper and coated with Golden Digital Ground. Very interesting. It has wrinkles, but this gives a texture for right image. Also used digital ground on linen-like cloth and pearly art paper. I love to experiment.
Hi Michael, Where is ChromaRoll? I only have Elements. Or do you mean add some kind of Blur? thanks
Thanks so much SpeedyWilson. As you can see, I am not speedy. I saved what you sent. Really appreciate it.
Hi Tucson Cayote, Actually it looks very different on metal - kind of 3-D or embossed. Thanks for looking and commenting.
Thanks Dennis and Blasthoff
Wow! I have to play with more filters! Great job.
Great!!! I kept trying to see inside the drop and then on the last photo,I did!
So glad you went in that close. It is beautiful.
I sent the first image below to a printer to be made in metal. Then I said I would try to take a picture of the metal print. I didn't think it would work and it didn't. My partner, Tim, says you have to actually see the metal print. He loves it and is a very critical person. It really looks amazing with a kind of 3-D look, kind of embossed.
The second image is a picture of the actual metal print of Raindrops. It came out better when photographing the metal. Perhaps because it is darker. Anyway, thanks to all of you for commenting.
Hi Pat, I forgot to say I love your fixes! Here is another -Koi Pond 2-original and photo-shopped. Can anyone think of a name for #2? It sort of looks like ice; but I can't seem to put it in words.
Hi PatOGraphy,
The first image is a Koi Pond image I took in Costa Rica that was shot at night and terrible. Was about to throw it away and then decided to play. First time I tried Filters. But I got #2- can't remember everything I did; but last I added Filter -Glowing Edges. I have sold it several times.
I'll send another Koi Pond soon.
OOPS! Nightsky. Dave was the message prior to yours.
