Bought a used Nikon EN EL3 battery for my Nikon D700 from MPB for $9.00. Cannot believe how well it is working. Seems like a new battery. I have not had much luck with non-Nikon batteries and hated to drop $50.00 for a Nikon. This is the only item I have purchased from them but, if looking for used equipment, might be worth a look.

The building is used for repair of train cars. Beautiful painting in place on the south side wall. I was on private property and was trying to hustle to get some photos before asked to leave. The last photo looks like the front loader is helping the hobo to climb into the boxcar.

I own it and it does very well on the Nikon D500. However, I did get the nikon 17-55mm and have not taken that lens off the the camera! Just a thought.

I have grandkids in volleyball and basketball. They range from 16 to 10 yrs of age. So, the gyms are poorly lit. I was using a Nikon D7100 with decent lenses (Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 and Nikon 55mm f1.8) and the photos were ok but not what I was hoping for. I got a Nikon D500. Whoa what a difference! The white balance was much better and the anti flicker option is amazing. So, I was very happy with my purchase is what I'm am trying to say. Plus, the low light capability of the D500 is a big jump in quality as well.

Just a side note...I will always remember what Sgt. “Cool Breeze” (that’s all we ever called him) said to us new kids going out on our first mission, “remember everything you are carrying out to the field tonight went to the manufacturer that bid the lowest!

What about them? My brother failed the medical exam and was rejected because of bone spurs.

That's because your brother had bone spurs.

I am a hack photographer shooting my grandkids in grade school and middle school gyms (bad lighting). I did the best I could with the Nikon D7100 w/Nikon 50mm f1.8 and Sigma 70-200 f2.8. I was finally able to get a refurbished Nikon D500! What a difference! Being able to use a little higher ISO was a big help but I was so surprised what the anti-flicker setting did for getting the right WB was just amazing.

I'm about 80 miles north of Roberts Camera's two stores. Nothing but good experiences with the store and the people. Have purchased used equip. and just like the face to face transaction.
