The problem with campus protests is that they will embolden Hamas to dig in and hope that pressure will force Israel to back off. Instead, pressure should be placed on Hamas to surrender, which it should have done since the beginning of the war. Hamas has brought mayhem upon the people whose best interests they are supposed to be serving. Instead, they seem to be serving some jihad instead.

Sure thing , Hamas is winning and they don't have to fire a shot. They still have the hostages, their Ace in the hole. These dumb ass protesters ain't nothing new had loads of them back in the 60's. Still just as fkn stupid.

I do have a fake Rolex I purchased from a recommeded store in St Maarten about 15 years ago. Submariner. It still looks new and keeps perfect time. Even showed it to a guy I knew in a Pawn Shop and he asked if I wanted to sell it.
Told him no and that it was fake. He looked it over and did not beleive it was fake. The owner came over and thanked me for showing them. Said he would have given me a lot of money for it. I paid $50.00 US for it. Love my watches!

Yep the history of watches and all the different models is intriguing. I especially like the dive watchs and their history. My folks bought me a Blancpaine 50 fathoms back in the '60s. Wore that thing everywhere for about 10 or 12 years, went in a drawer for the next 40 or so. My most recent dive watch is a Benarus megalodon # 28 when they first started up. Divers are fun.

I guess I’m a mix of old school and new school. I have a smart phone, capable of 5G, as well as a wristwatch. There are several things I need to keep track of on a timed schedule and I can glance at the wristwatch much quicker than pulling out my phone. To each his own.

Right on, do your thing. I have several watches, if you want a neat one (one of my favorites) look into Casio G Shock, Solar, Atomic. They have lots of features to choose from, lots of variations. My watch does all its features by its self and is set to 2099. Next check Citizen, lots of neat features. An Atomic watch is always the right time. Have fun enjoy your watches. They are just fun.

If you get caught, with a fake Rolex that you might have to pay a fine and lose the watch.

Not illegal to own a fake, it's illegal to sell.

Regarding the leather strap, Dennis, I say better safe than sorry.

I'm glad you stopped by.

I believe the leather strap might be a racing regulation, not sure. You see them on lots of race cars. I have a model of one on my book shelf that I put together back in 1963. One of the few models I have left. Love that car.
A Tesla owner said he would never buy another Tesla, but he changed his mind and saved $12,000. He took advantage of a temporary offer to get the $12,000 software for free. Yes, $12,000 for software to make the car complete.

[i]"The reason I bought it this month was to take advantage of a temporary offer to transfer my so-called Full Self Driving (FSD) software from my old Tesla to the new one without having to pay $12,000 or $200 a month for the software. I’ll save the reason for my confession till I’m done reviewing the new car and the latest version of Tesla’s FSD software."[i/]

I wouldn't buy an EV for the fire risk alone. EVs average only sixteen fires a year, which is much lower that the fires in gas and diesel vehicles, at 3,384 annually. Of course, the number of EVs on the road is miniscule compared with internal combustion vehicles. The difference is that EV fires are spontaneous and very difficult to extinguish. I'm satisfied with 40+MPG from my Fit.
About as dumb as they come.
