as long as the lenses are the STM versions (newest) they are same exact kit from your info. I would suggest that you go with the kit that has the STM lenses. if both are same then it boils down to where she is getting them from. which we dont know...

Bunch of hogwash in here:

1st learn how to deal with what you have.

Figure out how to take low light photos with that camera when all you have is F4 and narrower. make full use of the available ranges. Take lots of pictures.

Then upgrade... you will appreciate it much more and be a better photographer for stretching the capabilities of what you have now...

There are plenty of D7100 owners out there who can't shoot worth a lick.
Cameras, except in very extreme instances (edge of performance) wont lose you any shots. Your knowledge of the workings will..

If weight is the issue go with the SL1, will also let you use your existing lens that you use with the 50D (although Iwould suggest buying the SL1 with the kit lens (18 135 STM)be prepared to spend $800 (with lens)

if its a crop sensor frame get the 6D but get it with the 24 105 L and be prepared to spend $1950 used or up...

After Market warranties are often transferable. Factory are not.

FYI: on crop sensor camera the Tamron SP 28 75 (non VC) would be almost if not just as good and half the price... If no warranty on the 24 70 is a deal killer...

Actually I did provide sufficient info. Refurbished has a very specific meaning for cameras. And yes I have checked.... But thanks for responding

Umm no you did not, if you want a accurate answer, give accurate and precise specifics along with your query... Some models do not carry as much value when refurbed (percentage wize) as others... period. This trend follows the models used prices also.

If you are unwilling to supply details, you can take new price v. used price v. refurbed price on 10 models that retail over 1000.00 from 5 sources and do the math... if your cameras price falls into the average range its a fair price, if not then you need to find a cheaper option...

FYI: The only way that a presidents military experience actually comes into play is if he was a 2 star or higher... That doesnt happen anymore anyway.... the rest is just empathy.

What s this American obsession with service, very few other leaders have served, so what

Service is a big deal if you are formulating policy and calling the shots yourself.

for instance Obama has qualified persons under him running the show and formulating actions and just signs off on it.

Kim Jun is doing it all himself off the cuff and he is not qualified in many arenas that his job description covers, especially military.
