With two straps and buckles, it's not designed for fast access, but it is stylish.

I was never a dictate to fashion or style, that's why I have and use my black leather Leica Combi cases. Either one or two top flap zippers exposes everything. The front flas has snaps and is easy to get to anything inside.

I'm a big fan of Velcro - fast and secure - although a bit noisy.

Jerryc, nice looking travel case. Ihave a Billingham which I find one compartmental lighter. Ai have 3 lens which I like to have with me, a 35, 50 and 90. As it is I usually leave the 35. I am look into that one. Off the thread if you have used Leica. Had an R8, which I sold, and now have an M240. I always wondered if the film cameras rendered a sharper image than the. Digital. I'dlike an opinion since an M6,TTL has been coming to mind. If the image is not better, it would not make much sense.

Only problem with Velcro is that if wears out.

Something I haven't experienced - yet. I know the military tends to stay away from it because it's noisy, and it doesn't sound like anything in nature.

Talk about a coincidence.Out in France they have a Vin Granair which basically is a huge Boot sale which takes over an entire village, passing one of the stalls i saw a suede bag in very similar style to the leica ,cost me one euroe .
Threw it in the washing machine,i now have a camera bag which doesnt advertise the fact ,and is so comfertable .

Sounds good, but the airfare to France would negate any savings for me. :D

Wow, it looks good but I'm sure I'm going to faint when I see the Leica price tag! 8^)

I have film R8, M6, M7, M8, M9’s, and a M cameras. I never shoot the film cameras. I also have a Leica Enlarger. But since I have developed an allergy to photo chemicals, I never use it.

For me personally, any bag made by Billingham is an outstanding choice. They are the best bags for the money in my experience. I have Hadley Pro that has stood the test of time (15 years). I also have a newer 225 that is a great bag for carrying more than the Hadley Pro can carry but is still a manageable load. I recently got a Hadley Digital which is my daily carry bag for one camera, one lens. It is perfect for that role.

If you have the extra cash and can survive the sticker shock, the Fogg Last Waltz is the gold standard (to be fair to Fogg, $250 of the price is a tariff that is levied on the bags by the Political Class in Washington). We can't blame bee & Nigel for that. I have a Last Waltz, but it is such a thing of beauty that I rarely carry it (silly, I know).
