LOL! I've used Nikon for years but due to the camera's weight and my arthritis, I switched from Nikon to an Olympus mirrorless and I feel the same way! Haven't memorized where everything in the menus are.
Where was the lighthouse? We spent a month near Frankfort in July of 2004. Beautiful area.
I have not had that trouble with Bridge and make sure I have the sort order by name so they stay in sequential order.
I shoot RAW most of the time and at PP time, I weed out the bad ones, rename and process the ones I want to save. When done I save the finished photos as high quality JPG's. I never discard the RAW photos of the ones I'm keeping. Occasionally I'll save a PSD with layers depending on the work or the photo. But normally I don't save layers. I save the RAW as a back up and also as one progresses in PP skills it can be fun to go back and rework some older photos.
Very nice. Used to live in Riverside, Ca. Been years since we were at that park.
I found the shutter mechanism so much smoother on the 810 than the 800. There were a lot of other improvements as well. I was glad I upgraded.
I do a lot of old photo restorations and wouldn't be without a Wacom pad. When I first started I was lucky in that it didn't take me too long to get the hang of it....maybe an hour. One tip...don't look at your hand when using the pad. Keep your eyes on the monitor and practice.
Thanks for sharing all the organ photos. We are sure enjoying all your work.
It was unique. Here are a couple of photos. The first photos is in the Country Coach and the 2nd one is in the Dutch Star
You can use iCloud, but if you don't want to use that you can put your pictures into Apple's "Photos". Then make albums. Then hook your iPhone to your computer and go to iTunes. Click on the small icon of the phone (in the upper left of the screen) and that will take you to a different screen. Pick the line that says "photos". There you tell the computer where to look for pix and if "Photos" isn't already highlighted, pick that. Then you can choose to put all you photos onto the iPhone or just the albums.
http://www.organstoppizza.com/ Here is another link to a large theater organ. If anyone gets to Mesa, AZ, be sure to go here for a good meal and fantastic music. I hope when you get finished with the photos you share some. My hubby is a retired church organist and for a long time we had a small but fully functional church organ in our RV.
Very nice. I've driven through the Virgin River Gorge many times.
That must have been an interesting landing. Great shots.
Nice photos. Glad I'm south this winter, it has been nasty up there. Where are you from? We're from Box Elder, east of Rapid City.
I have the OM-D 1 and it takes sharp photos. No problem focusing and it did have some shutter lag until I found a setting to change and now it doesn't. I hated to give up the Nikon gear, but it was just too heavy.
