Hi Sassy1, I am a over the road truck driver. I'm from Norfolk. I'm using a Nikon D3200. I really like it. It's not so expensive that if some drastic happens, I'm not out a ridiculous amount of money. I did happen to find a great little camera shop in Kearney. The ppl are awsome and very knowledgeable. (Nebraska Camera). I bought the camera at best buy. Mistake on my part. I don't like the "kit" lens. I have purchased a Tamron 90mm w/macro, and a 70-300 telephoto with macro. I'm getting some really nice crisp pics.

OK, this is only a repeat of what the camera shop owner said to me and it does make sense. IMO. Go get a box of "Q-tips" then get the stuff called "PUROSOL" Lens cleaning kit. It's safe, No alcohol, No Ammonia and the biggest thing he said "It leaves no residue". Anyway, take a q-tip, spray 1 squirt on one end, start in the- center of the lens or filter (whatever your cleaning) rub it in a circular motion. Then flip the Q-tip over with the dry side and start wiping off the liquid. You will use 3-8 Q-tips depending on the size of your lens. His explanation of the procedure is this: If you use any type of cloth, the second you pick it up, you contaminate the cloth with the oils from your fingers. then if you use it more than once, you are probably going to scratch the lens with the dirt you wiped off the last cleaning. I am in no way trying to sell this product, but I really like it and the anti-static that it seems to have, makes my lenses not get as dusty.

Hi there, I bought mine about 3 months ago. I really like it. Here is my story and thots. I wanted a really nice camera. I used to be in photography in high school. only could take b&w. For the year book. I really forgot how much I enjoyed it. So I did NOT look and do as much research as I should have. But I went to Best Buy, talked to the sales guy and got the "sale bundle" they had going. I should have just bought the body and saved the money and not got the kit. My reason is I have already purchased 2 other lenses. Only because I found a really cool professional camera shop that does not push product, and explains how to use it properly. My first purchase was a better lens. $525 later and WOW huge difference. The kit lens that Nikon bundles with the camera is an insult to the electronics and quality that can be established with good optics. Then I purchased another lens. $400 and I love it. sending a couple of pics. I know you cant view them full screen and really blow them up but its an example for you. I guess the old saying "garbage in garbage out " is definitly true. better lens can make or break a cameras image. The owner of the camera shop agrees totally,
Really good optics can make even a cheap camera take really nice photos.

Finally got back into photography. Love the digital age. Still learning. I travel in about 38 states and don't have alot of time to look around and see how I'm gonna take a shot. But I manage.
