1957 wasn't so great for all Americans. In 1957 it took the power of the President of the United States of America and the strenght of the United States Army to ensure the rights of nine African-American children to attend a public High School in Little Rock, Ark., and to protect their very existance while they did so. Today, an African-American man IS the President of the United States of America. Some things do change for the better!

Nothing wrong with remembering the past, it's one of the reasons we take pictures. Getting stuck there, though,serves no purpose but stagnation.
