This story is told from a woman's point of view we men can do some pretty silly stuff too.
-----------------------

Several days ago as I left a meeting at a hotel; I desperately gave
myself a personal TSA pat down. I was looking for my keys.
They were not in my pockets or my purse. A quick search in the meeting room revealed nothing.

Suddenly I realized I must have left them in the car. Frantically, I headed for the parking
lot. My husband has scolded me many times for leaving the keys in the ignition.

My theory is the ignition is the best place not to lose them. His theory is that the car will be stolen. As I burst through the door, I came to a terrifying conclusion. His theory was right. The parking lot was empty.
I immediately called the police. I gave them my location, confessed that I had left my keys in the car, and that it had been stolen.

Then I made the most difficult call of all, "Honey," I stammered; I always call him "honey" in times like these. "I left my keys in the car, and it has been stolen."
There was a period of silence. I thought the call had been dropped, but then I heard his voice.

He barked, "I dropped you off!"
Now it was my time to be silent.

Embarrassed, I said, "Well, come and get me."
He retorted, "I was on my way, but I'll be delayed."

"Why is that?" I asked.

"Because I was pulled over by the police and now have to convince them that I didn't steal your car.

Yep, it's the golden years.

[quote=Erv]Welcome to the site Ed!! I hope we can call you Ed.:) You are going to have a good time here. Many great folks around to help you along the way. I have 30 some bodies. starting with a Kodak Brownie and ending with a Nikon F5. I sold the F6 to get the D300s I use now. :)

Thanks Erv. Yep, you got the name right. I've handled some of the models you've mentioned but have never owned one unfortunately. Maybe one day I'll buy one and take a picture of my wife giving me the hairy eyeball when she finds out how much I paid.

Thanks Steve. Hummm. I guess I should find an avatar. It seems to lend a dimension to ones posts.

Thanks for the welcome. You're a very friendly group on this site. It's one of the reasons I decided to come out of the shadows and join in.

Thanks for the welcome, Al. I didn't think I was the only one that hung on to old camaras. It's kinda fun to pick an old favourite up and fiddle with it just to watch my wife roll her eyes.

I've been reading entries on this forum for a while now and I've grown to luv it. I'm a true lover of taking photograghs...the growth of the technology from film to digital images...everything about photography. My biggest weakness is I can't get rid of old cameras. Never use em anymore but I still luv them.

Hi all. I own hunting rifles and go moose hunting every fall in Northern Ontario. My views on gun control are mixed. So, I'm watching the gun debate with interest from the sidelines in Canada. Judge Pirro has a point in her Youtube video and I believe singling out individuals was absolutely _wrong_.
However, I believe the latest NRA's add mentioning President Obama's 2 two daughters is sinking even lower. NRA spokesman Andrew Arulanandam said the ad is not about the Obama girls. Anyone can see that if you take the girls out of the ad...you have no ad.
Sometimes it's smart to sit back and let you opponent sink themselves in their own mistakes instead of jumping into the ring with bigger ones.
So what happens?
Obama announced a plan for combating gun violence Wednesday, appearing with four children who had written to him asking him to stop gun violence.

I'd say to both sides......Just stop it!
