I started 40 plus years ago with a nikormat, Had many Nikons along the way including D850 then covid came and I got the Q2 loved it. Changed my life. Then the M11, loved that too. Don’t use the Nikons anymore except for exceptional circumstances.
I called support twice. A Machine Says they moved and they do not answer the phone. I sent an email to support twice and never received an answer. Pretty bad customer service.
I have email hasselblad support twice. No response
I upgraded hasselblad x2d to firmware 2.0
Now when i look through EVF, there is a 3-4 second delay before EVF comes on. It used to be instant. Has Anyone seen this problem? If yes, is there a fix? Thank you
I have the X2D with a 45p lens. The combo works great. Crystal clear tack sharp images with superb color. Im waiting for new 55mm lens
The new hasselblad xcd lenses 55mm and 38mm are out of stock at B&H and everywhere else in uSA until june 2023
If you order directly from Hasselblad web site
Can u get them quicker???
Getting ready to make a big purchase
Leica M11 vs Hasselblad X2D
Does anyone have any experience comparing image quality? Are Hasselblad lenses as good as Leica
Thank u
I shot RAW for many years and did many black and white conversions.
For the last two years, I've shot RAW and High-contrast Black and white.
Lightroom can be set to import both.
I see both images side by side and I can quickly decide whether I want this to be a color or B&W image.
I know I can do this with the black and white button inside Lightroom but it often takes a few seconds to render.
By shooting both, you get to see them side by side immediately.
Storage is cheap but if it were an issue, I would discard the JPEG after making a decision.
I have a Q2. It’s an incredible camera
No ports of any sort. I simply remove SD card and put it in a card reader
It’s easy and quick and worth it for the high quality images. It’s a fabulous small full frame 47 megapixel camera
A few of my photography friends have them and love them
I’m 82. Using Nikon equipment for the last 20 years. I have multiple cameras including D850 and many lenses. I have no problem with the camera and 1-2 lenses but during the pandemic, I purchased a Leica Q2…. Lighter, smaller, limiting with only a 28mm non interchangeable lens….but I love it. It’s stealthy and I take it everywhere. I use my feet to zoom in. Takes amazing pictures and is simply more fun. I never expected to leave Nikon but that is what happened
I experienced the same thing you are experiencing. I shot Nikon for 30 years. Currently I have a D850, 24-70mm, 70-200, etc
About two years ago, I bought a Leica Q2 and I never looked back. Small, compact, fixed 28 mm f1.7 sumilux lens, 47 megapixels, but most importantly, great files. Amazing files. I thought I was Nikon until the end but I’m not. I seldom use the the D850 anymore
I’m a long-time Nikon user. Got a Leica Q2 about a year ago and virtually gave up using D850, now thinking of getting M11 and apo 35mm sumicron.
Thoughts?
How are you doing with this combination ?
Any issues printing with the new version??
