Natalie - great article, very well written. And it tells my story and I am sure, that of many others.
Where would I be without the wonderful grandmother wh cared for me for twelve months of my childhood?
Happy Mothers Day, and many more!
That's what I thought Judi, you can see his hands are positioned incorrectly to be pulling a starter cord.
Now why didn't I realise his wife read the instructions! Must go and tell my husband he's been doing it the wrong way.....
The position of his hands is a little wrong for pulling the cord, what is he actually doing?
Leave the leaves, it's such a natural shot. Love it!
It's only our government that's pissed, the rest of us know its only a movie. ( and it probably is true, going by the government at the time)
Well, the maps pretty accurate!
Have not seen the movie and don't really know the story but surely the facts were checked and what is portrayed is what is believed to be the truth.
Ugly birds you have over there!

This was something I also wanted to ask. We all know what mm stands for but I had no idea of how it related to my lenses, so thank you for asking. Still not sure that I understand it so am going to read threw these postings again. I only have two lenses, the kit 18-55 and a 55-250. It's all very well knowing what they do, but how they do it is something I want to know also.
I contacted Canon New Zealand yesterday, they say there is no such thing!
Bet then, I suppose they would say that.
Don't want to risk damaging my camera though.
I also have a Canon AE1. I loved using that camera and all its lenses, seems a shame that it is sitting in a cupboard collecting dust. What is the name of the adaptor, might try and see if I can get one in New Zealand.
All those lenses cost a lot of money once.
Don't believe sax kiwi or you will starve. There is plenty if road kill to be had, flat mates every where!
Oh, you must realise by now, us kiwis are a friendly bunch, you will be made very welcome wherever you go.
I think we kiwis are proud of home more than we realise! But, like most of us, I prefer going overseas rather than looking at my own back yard.
As much as we sling off at the JAFA's and the Westies, West Auckland has some lovely scenery for photo opportunites.
Like the rest of the Kiwis on here, I know you will enjoy your trip, and wish you had longer. but you will be back!
that loo is amazing! but I am pleased its not in my house!
Where is it?
