Hi George. You're asking the "Apple / PC" question. Good luck with your decision as which ever you chose, it will be right.
Looking forward to seeing your photos.

Do you remember where in the Park you shot this? Was it from Hayden Meadows?
Also, what lens and focal length? The download didn't contain this info. Great shot, keep em coming. Tks

This is in West Yellowstone at the discovery center at the west gate. Canon 400mm. If you want to discuss shooting them in Lamar Valley or Hayden, you'll need a very long lens because they're shy. It's a lot like fishing. You need tons of patience and quite a bit of luck.
There are some folks who follow the pack's radio collars. If you hook up or know the right people you can hike with them. Still, they usually don't get very close. We were lucky enough to have a lone wolf circle behind us once and I got a few shots of him. Still, nothing to put on a calendar. Good luck.

You know, this isn't bad treatment. The blown-out sky isn't as huge of an issue as some might think. As a matter of fact, it seems to be the new fad. My eye is drawn to the blue (and some of the green) though. You might try toning it down a little (hue/saturation - click on the color and bring it down a bit). Nice work.

I thought I would give it a try, though I think you need a professional retoucher. The image appears to be seriously backlit and any attempts I made to bring the the face out of shadow blew the whites.

But here is my attempt.

I ended up using multiple layers for the edits and then ran a filter or two for creativity. In the full size version you can see that I suck at masking.
