wow,fantastic colors! I have taken shots of the typical prickly pear cactus(yellow) that i have growing in my front garden here in New England. Love them.

you may want to take some of the clouds out in the lower left of the 2nd image and the flower will pop even more.

I personally think the clouds and blue make this a better picture. We head to the So Cal deserts in Spring to capture all the Wildflowers blooming and it's just amazing to see those flowers out in the middle of the desert. Nice pictures !
