Until this week I followed the procedure listed below and always brought up my selected photo and not the "Select a Source" screen as noted in my Step 5.
My normal procedure for working on a photo in Lightroom 6 is as follows.
1. Go to Photos and select photo to export.
2. GO to file and select export.
3. Export to Desktop
4. Go to Lightroom and select Import Photos and Video.
Normally an drop down to select Desktop would appear but it does not.
5. instead of being the option to select the export The attached "Select a Source screen appears."
No matter what I have tried I cannot get around this screen.

Any suggestions you may provide will be greatly appreciated.

Our daughter escaped the nasty weather up north and flew to Florida for a long weekend. She flew back from Tampa International.

The rubber coating located by the Memory Card Door on my D-810 has become detached and needs to be reglued. Attached is a picture of the area.
I have tried gorilla glue and it has failed to adhere.
Does anyone know of the proper type of glue that would work?
Thank you for any advice you may have for me.

I own this fantastic lens. Interior (real estate) it is a must. Landscape, I live in New England, fall foliage it is spectacular. Yes it is heavy but everyone needs exercise (LOL). with this totally awesome lens attached to your 810 you will be extremely pleased. I loved mine from the very first shot.

Really nice pics! Incidentally, my daughter and family live in Westport.

My reference to the term "lens the day" seemed to confuse several responders.
Perhaps "walk around lens" would be a better description.
A little more info about me might help....I am retired and have always been interested in photography.
We live in PA and own a home in Florida. My wife and I frequently walk the beach and I take my camera.
I take photos of various subject matter and not exclusively landscapes. I don't want to carry any equipment so the lens I put on my camera is the lens I will use all day.
As with other lenses, I don't expect 100% versatility but I really want to use a lens without 100% disappointment.
Thank you for your input.

I am very interested in purchasing a Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8 ED Lens from B & H this week.
It will be used on my Nikon D-810.
I own the other two "Trinity" lenses and have read that this one will compliment and complete the "Trinity."
Being an amateur, I don't carry all of my lenses with me but I pick the "lens of the day" and take all manner of photos with it.
I'll take landscapes, portraits, action pics, etc. and I am usually satisfied with most that I take.
The Nikon 14-24 is a wide angle lens and i have a few concerns.
Will I have the flexibility to use it as my "lens of the day"or will I be limited to taking a variety of photos?
I am hoping to get responses from knowledgeable people who own this or a similar lens.
(Thanks again to all who answered my question regarding the definition of "Gray Market.")

I asked RITZ who is offering the Nikon lens for almost $500 less than B & H if the lens was a "Gray Market' lens and they honestly answered my question in the following manner,
"As stated in the listings for all of our Nikon products, these are international models and do not have a US warranty. However, we do provide a 1 year warranty through Ritz Camera for any manufacturer defects."
I have learned the meaning of "international models."
I sincerely appreciate everyone's input and I believe you are offering good advice.
I will be purchasing the lens from B & H as I have always done.
Thank you all!!!

I use all Nikon lenses. Occasionally, i find a high-priced Nikon lens being offered at a dramatically low price. I have also heard the term "gray market"used at times.
Is this is a term given to a lens when the lens is not the authentic manufacturer's product or perhaps it was not manufactured where it was designed?
