Awesome shots. I'm from Christchurch, and I travel over this way every chance i get. We use to camp over near Lake Benmore. Lupins as far as one can see.
One area I love going to is the West Coast of the South Island. If you are a photographer, this has to go on your bucket list. When I go, I always find something new.

I believe the speed has nothing to do with the software, its your computor. I had the same issue with elements, but was great once the computor was sorted. I use paintshop and i think its a great tool. Software is really an individual thing. What one person might like, the next won't, so i suggest you talk to as many people as you can, and if possible, try some to see what works for you.
