Bless you Pat - apologies for omitting you! And thanks for the "welcome back!" At the risk of boring - just a couple more :-)

Thank you for your lovely comments, Judy, Sher, Markar, Simon and E Mang - Ann Murrey your Dog Diving is right up my street and to Plessnar your Monarchs and Bee are spectacular. We've not seen many butterflies this year and never anything as markedly beautiful as these! And as for seeing a humming bird, let alone capturing it you are very lucky and blessed. Don't know if this will pop up in the right place, but thanks again and I've made note of the pet challenge at the end of the month :-)

Been absent so long, I've forgotten how to post! But my subject matter doesn't much change - a few golden girls enjoying the sunshine and water on this "free Sunday"

Judy - your pups are delectable! I'm sorry to have missed their progress - here are a couple taken of mine in the woods this week and one other of my old girl who despite advanced years still has lightening reactions when it comes to a game of catch :-)

Hi Folks, haven't been around for a while so hope this finds you fine and dandy and all in your garden rosy! I'm guessing this weeks challenge was to look at things with different eyes or catch a subject/vista that you've not seen before........the following was a tiny hermit crab (about 2 inches) that I found without her shell! Who would have thought that she would have a bright pink polka dot petticoat. What I couldn't see until I uploaded the pictures was that she was laying eggs! It's been so long since I've popped in I can't remember how to post, so hopefully this will land in the right place lol!

Haha - the travertine tiles throughout the house are an endless source of faces, both human and hob goblin and every mythical creature known to man! Don't know if this fits the category, but I liked your "bark" full of mystery and dark tales, besides which I've not dropped by for months :-)

You would love my bathroom rug. Every time I walk on it the pile shifts and catches light differently, and people and animals and other things constantly appear. It's a very entertaining rug. :P :P :P The lace curtains in my bedroom have faces, too. We are not crazy, we have retained our child-like imaginations. I think that's good for making art.

Oh Sheenagh, how beautiful the love you have for the goldens and their love for you. I believe that a really good photo evokes emotion and yours did that for me.

Great challenge. I haven't been out much to shoot since school started, but managed to take a few pics in the backyard of some overgrown weeds on the hillside.
