This little red-breasted nuthatch showed up at a friend's feeder the other day. I usually try to avoid "feeder shots", but this time of year, options for natural settings are limited... Canon 5D4, 485mm, 1/1000 @ ISO 6400.
Went out last night with my new-to-me Canon 5D Mk IV to see what it'd do shooting the Milky Way. Between clear skies and the new camera, I was able to get probably the best MW photo I've ever taken, and a bit of post-processing produced my best photo to date. Taken with the 5D4, a Tamron SP17-35 lens @ 17mm, 25 sec exposure @ ISO 6400. Still have a long way to go before I get the editing process down pat, but this is a start...
