Venturer, I'm back. For your information my wife and I are on a trip out of the country to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.
This post was all in fun, if you don't like it don't read it. I am constantly harassed by Christians spewing their end time nonsense, barely containing the joy that in their minds Atheists will burn in hell. If you choose to believe your "super hero" deity is just to infinitely torture humans for the supposed sin of using their reason, you are the foolish one..
The Fool says in his heart there is no god, the wise man tells the world. I won't waste any more of my time trying to explain myself to "believers"..

We've seen Jesus in Tacos, toast or widnows in buildings..but now the real thing has appeared to me on my dog's ass. I should have known this would happen since I'm dyslexic and naturally when I called my hound in last night he appeared to me with the image of god.on his ass Come God, your kibble is served I called god by mistake. The Holy prankster put his image on my dog's ass. to prank me ,me I think It would be a sin to shave it off...
Praise Jesus for he works in mysterious ways

Wintertime is the perfect time to learn Photoshop, you can take all those snowy pictures and turn them into a nice green landscape with maybe some palm trees.

houdel, I bought Elements for Dummies but I think if you take a look at the YouTube videos on Elements 9 you'll learn much faster...

Your suggestions on the most effective way to learn Photoshop Elements 9? So far I've found the videos at photoshopelementsuser.com/; "Photoshop Elements 9 For Dummies", "The Photoshop Elements 9 Book for Digital Photographers" by Scott Kelby, and "Photoshop Elements 9: The Missing Manual" on Amazon. Are any of these the Silver Bullet or is there something better available?

ebrunner and Irv, thanks for the comments.. I would like to tell you that that first picture was just the way the flames looked but I have to admit that I have a copy of CS6 and phtoshopped it just a bit....

Those are fantastic. You could go pro for the Weekly World News.....oh wait, I think they went out of business. Nice set. I have no idea how you did the first shot which is what makes it so cool.

Wheezer1,
I tried to send you a PM but it must have failed. Attached is a photo I scanned of a shot I took about 15 years ago up there. I would love a redo of this one now that we have digital. Have you any shots of it?
Gary

Edit: It appears this one failed to show photo. It is the RR Station in Harrisville at sunrise, early spring with patches of snow on the ground. The scene is beautiful isolation with the track going into the distance and forest.

Does EST mean Eastern State Time or Estimated around Midnight!
Well the reason I'm asking is because Washington is 5 hours behind the UK, so if anything happens at Midnight I'll let you know so that at least it will give you a minimum of 5 hours to start digging in! LOL.

Is that midnight EST or can I sleep for a while longer? Raptures are so noisy with all the trumpets blasting.

James, these are great pictures of the moon. I can't get that much detail with my Canon and Sigma 500mm telephoto. Keep them coming.
