I had a Olympus 4/3 for quite a few years. Quality was always acceptable. The only issue I had was using in low light. My night photos and low light situations had a lot to be desired. I left, but still have the camera and lens, to Sony because of the news that there would be no more Olympus cameras-right or wrong.
I also had no problem at the pumps at all--after I figured out"fillier" (sp??) meant fill up. Couldn't read anything else. :>) Highly recommend filters on the camera.
More Points. We used Booking.com. Don't have to pay upfront and stayed in peoples homes. Bought food at grocery store and a Styrofoam ice chest when we got there. I would highly recommend you purchase "National Geographic Iceland Adventure " map #3302-see Amazon. Very detailed on waterfalls. Best purchase you will make ahead of time for preparation. Don't ask for ice--they call it "cubes". :>) Somewhere I have where we stayed on the Ring Road. Used "sad cars" for an auto-higher mileage cars but it worked.
Fence in front of the Tetons
Fence on Highway 1 in California.
Lots of waterfalls and streams. If you want silky water, take a tripod. Went for 10 days and never had much of a wind problem-early September. Did the whole Ring Road. Wonderful. If touring yourself, Google Maps worked great-better than the Garmin with Iceland maps downloaded. Replaced the phone Sim card at the airport with an Icelandic sim card and bought 5 or 10 gig with it.. Basically a cashless society so make sure you are not being charged fees from your bank for use. I used a Schwab bank card with no charges and exchange rate was whatever it was that day-no up charges. Take toilet paper. Food is expensive since they have to import almost everything but mutton and sea food. Had good internet everywhere-better than the USA in the boondocks. Lots of country churches. Most speak English so that should not be an issue. May want to get "whats app" if using an Iphone or comparable for android to converse back home. Enjoy your trip-it is an awesome country for photography. Nothing in the world like it.
I've used Adorama Pix (Printique) and made 3 on metal and put side by side. The photo is split there when you order.
Natchez Trace Parkway -444 miles of no stop signs or lights with a 55 mph limit and no trucks. Very historical.
Condoms-for other than normal use. Lens cover, emergency water container, dry bag, tinder, fire starter, fishing bobber, cordage substitute and whatever else you can tell your wife they are good for. :>),
Another petrified Stump-but much larger. One of the most interesting areas to photograph. Highly recommend it.
Petrified stump. Ah shi sle pah wilderness area-New Mexico Badlands.
It is on the bucket list but probably will not ever make it. Great shot.
