too funny-- i see you aim to please!
i use a flatbed epson photo scanner-- you will want to be sure to get a photo scanner--i process slides professionally and will probably need to upgrade soon--between the included software and ps3- they work great and you can do about 24 to a sheet- turn up the resolution and crop each slide and number and you are set!
just color the 2nd one one white and show nasa!
note cards too!-- great layering pieces
sometimes a "bad" original can be the starting place of a creative piece- use a a background, or a layering piece- or go wacky and jazz it up with all sorts of colors or kaleidoscope! it can be a new beginning!
nice shots-- the utah canyon pic - i think could use a bit more contrast to punch it up-- or try curves-- see what you think
i also print my own-- i have burned up 2 epson 1800's now have epson 2880 and 7880 for large prints-- they botohe print beautifully-- lost of paper choices on line from amazon to e bay--
that is right -- adobe does have an additional upload for you
you may want to check your preferences list- make sure your editing program is set up correctly- you can also have jpg's open in the raw editing program- save in tif and you have triples your photo data!
