Thank you Tom....... This school has been at the bottom for years but I must say that the coaches and students never gave up. Every game I had the pleasure of photographing, the members supported each other until the final buzzer. No put downs or throwing of helmets. Always positive. Great small country school with old fashioned Christian values.....

Beautiful pictures. I was in Sylva this past weekend for the WCU Homecoming. We lost but we enjoyed the parkway on Sunday and the snow at Watwrrock Knob.

Cliff, thank you for you observation and comment. He is my first grandson by marriage and I found out recently, that my daughter will be having a baby next May. So, Korbin has been my model since his birth. I enjoy the learning that goes into photography and one day, I'd like to try my hand in the program you're involved in - Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. I was a school administrator for 25+ years (elementary school) and a funeral director for 25 years also. So eventually I will try and contact the person in North Myrtle Beach, SC and see if I can begin the road to certification in the program.

Have a great day and I do enjoy viewing and learning from your work......

Happy Birthday Korbin - No matter how you count it (365 days, 8,760 hours, 525,600 minutes, or 31,536,000 seconds), this has been the fastest year ever. Can't believe he already one years old! Wonder just how fast this next year will go by?

I'm Myrtle Beach, I'd try to photograph the following: Brookgreen Gardens (this would be a day trip) and across the street, Atalaya. There are beautiful trees, flowers, and statues at Brookgreen. If you enjoy night photography, the SkyWheel on the Boardwalk.

Thanks Jay.... Vernell just crossed the line for Medicare but for me, she looks so much younger. She was once described on UHH as having "character lines" and we laugh about that now. She keeps me going and striving to better each day. We received word today that the "cheerleader" likes the test shots and wants her pictures done this week.....

Thomas..... Thank you for your comments. I've had a great deal of fun and it's so interesting learning about what the limits of the equipment is and how much (or little) I've learned through the years. OCF is totally new to me and getting the correct settings has been a hit or miss situation. I'm hoping and time goes on, I can become more consistent in the process......

Have a great day and look forward to more comments from you in the future

I've been asked to do a session at the local high school by a senior cheerleader who was actually a student of mine when she was in kindergarten. When going to a new site, I always take some sample shots and look over the location. Thank goodness I have a patient and willing wife.....

Equipment: Nikon D810, Phottix Indra 500, and Nikon 70-200MM f/2.8 lens - ISO 100 and shot at f/2.8 (most of the time) and shutter speed varied
