You image is extremely underexposed. It looks like you exposed for the street lights and nothing else. Use f stop of about f8 to no more than f11 as that will give you all the depth that you need. Bracketing your exposures will give you exposures to work with.
What do you want a 50mm lens for?? It is not a landscape
lens or a portrait lens. It was what all old 35mm film cameras came with as a standard lens. Now I can see no value for that lens.
Ok, I was not thinking about the pocketwizard.
Watch the hands, they look like claws on the boys. Keep hands out unless you pose them right. Get all the faces looking toward the camera.
You have to have one flash as master and the other as slave. Read the manual it helps.

If I was to back off I would be on the interstate highway. This is right along the highway
You should see the original, very flat and uninteresting. I have a 16x20 of this that looks very nice as is. Just my way of working. I have found that if it doesn't have lots of punch you lose out in the judging, it just doesn't get accepted.
Here is the company that did the conversion.

If you have it converted all you can use if for is IR it is not an option that you can use it as a regular camera.
Thanks,
Don.
