My mom and grandfather died at 63 and my elder sister at 69, so yes I think 75 is old. Getting old is better than the alternative.

I am an old person. How else can I photograph myself. I could use makeup and special lighting, but I would still have 12 grandkids and 2 great grandkids.

I have a question.
How do you take photos of older people that don't want to show their age?
I know this is a difficult but I had to ask. Do I shoot them further away from the camera, turn their heads a certain way. Just asking and

Thank You,
Jules
. I am an elderly person and I just used my iPad to take a self. No makeup or special lighting. I don’t mind being me. Pick those wh don’t mind getting older.

Are you using a macro lens with both cameras? If not, the lens difference would count more than the camera.

I would get the 100-400 instead. Both great lenses but for wildlife you will need more reach. I own both lenses and they are both very good. Bab

I think that for some reason, those who manufacture pretty much everything seem to think that saving a few bucks on Manuel’s is a cost effective move. I just spent 37,000 on a new car and got the same kind of terrible manual. I can get a better one on line. If something goes wrong on a trip or if I need to know something about my car while driving in the mountains, oh well. At least they saved a couple of dollars by not giving me the information that I need. Bab

All that money for only one focal length?

You zoom the old fashion way. With your feet.

Are not good card readers much faster than SD slots in the computer? And, readers accept a variety of card types. I've always used my card slot, but just ordered a UGREEN card reader, due tomorrow. Did I waste my $16?

No, I find card readers to be faster than any other method and I have used one on my computer to download my cards for years. Well worth the money for me. If you are downloading raw images, the card makes a huge difference. If I am just doing casual snaps that won’t need processing, I just put them on my iPad. If you have raw files or another reason to do processing on your computer, a card reader is the way to go. Bab

I use a card reader because the ones built into laptops don’t take CF cards which I still use. If you are using SD, almost anything takes those. Of course to get an SD card on my iPad I use USB_C to SD, a card reader and easier and faster than wireless. Bab

The 5DlV. I got rid of my 7Dll because picture quality wasn’t what I wanted I got a Canon 1DX Mark ll for my action shots. The 5DlV will do the job however and I like it a great deal more than the 7Dll.
