Can't wait to see some of your pictures! Have a great time!
#1 is the best with #4 being the 2nd best. What a very beautiful picture!
Taken with Nikon D3100 with 55-200 lens. This is my first attempt at taking pictures of flowers up close. I've been enjoying the Flowers topics and learning from the comments that follow here on this forum. I would like to be able to capture these flowers before the season ends. Please critique.
Sunflower with a bee on it
A poppy - good but not great
I think this is the best one I took
Thank you so much for the encouragement and advice!
I hope your plans include stopping in Marble, Colorado at the Crystal Mill and Yule Marble Quarry. Here's the link:

What a beautiful time of the year that you will be here! I can't wait to see some pictures of your trip! Enjoy!
Being new to photography terms I had to look up what "Candid" meant for this week's photo challenge.
A candid photograph is a photograph that is made either without the subject's knowledge or without their explicit permission, hence they are captured unposed.
Yeah, I learned something new today. I really like these photo challenges each week. It really helps me learn and improve. Especially, when others have the same concept as me ~ but their photos are extremely better than mine!
Thanks everyone for helping me grow!
These are beautiful! My favorite is the last one! Awesome!
I really like the flower from the backside. I never thought of doing it that way ---- but it makes such an eye catching photo! Love the butterfly pic too. And all photos are great - those are just my two favorites!

Very Nice Shots! I really like how you were able to capture the power of the waves in the 3rd picture - I can almost feel the spray!
She's very beautiful and the pictures you took of her are great!
Wow! You even get great photos on a point and shoot. You are truly inspiring me! Love Cottonwood Pass!
