Great shots! Did you take the first one from the foot bridge on the highway? Took a similar shot a couple of years ago! Cooling towers on top of dam are in different time zones!

Thanks to all for comments and suggestions given prior to the trip. Yes, the first one is from the bridge....that perch is not for the faint of heart, I'll tell you! VERY high up, and it was really windy....had a blast, and I highly recommend taking one of the two dam tours offered, super interesting....built under budget and completed ahead of schedule during the Depression.....I can't imagine what the budget would be today, and they'd probably NEVER complete the project!

When we went there I loved the Hoover Dam Tour. The tour guides are real comedians, once you pay and get in the elevator to go down and see the turbines. Beautiful picts of the area. Nice night pict of the strip.
