Ran the first 4 images through HDR Efex pro and came up with this, not too sure what end result you are looking for as it can be edited any which way with very varied results, Hope this is something like what you wanted

Thank you for the kind words, it is one of my favourite shots so far this year and have entered it to be considered as an image on a locally produced calendar

What? Are you saying your camera only takes one card? My (soon to be outclassed by two D800s ) D7000 takes two cards, thus there is always one in the camera.

When I go on location, I usually have four 16 GB cards, four sets of rechargeable batteries (and the charger,) 50 or so non-rechargeable Duracells, a fresh 2 TB external hard drive, a Macbook to run the hard drive and the card reader, a 30 amp sine wave AC inverter running off a pair of deep discharge batteries built for that purpose, an iPad mainly for navigation and a WiFi hot spot for the notebook, hot lights, strobes, beauty dishes, and, of course, a full set of essential backups.

That list is just the tip of an iceberg. Having been in the film industry for decades, I can say nothing is ever left to chance.

And a large Semi truck to haul it all around with? :)

G'day all. Can I also suggest in addition to using Photomatix that you have a look at a programme called Dynamic HDR. It allows you the ability to use a single shot Jpeg image and create a HDR photo in psuedo mode. I use it often for single shots of moving images such as cars etc. If you have access to Topaz Labs plugin bundles you can create some amazing looking pictures. Goodluck guys....

Photomatix pro will also import a single image for tonemapping under >File>open
The results are not as good as when you merge several differently exposed photo's but can sometimes do a mean job.
Hope this helps

Nice shot, but I would crop out the distracting boat at the top.

I did do an edit with that cropped out but preferred the one with it in, it filled an empty space, I wanted to keep some space in the front of the boat to balance the composition, I might just clone it out instead.
Thank you for your comments

Taken yesterday during a force 5, hopefully the wind here has dropped enough for the big power boats to race today...

Critique welcome

Lovely Photo's dont worry about underexposing, if you shoot in RAW then its so easy to tweak back up in PP, these look fine to my eye though :)

Great Capture, I would be tempted to crop in even further though to just behind the cross thats behind her, just under the hanging yellow flowers and to the edge of where the light is spiralling, maybe just extend back to include a little area beneath her feet. Maybe just me but i always like to see a bit more space in the direction of where the subject is looking (rule of thirds)
