Holy-moley...you sure are getting lots of feedback on this one. I have scanned the responses and don't see one thing mentioned: It is important to ask the church and/or person doing the ceremony what are the requirements/guidelines of their space. I have done weddings where:
1. I can go anywhere to shoot during the ceremony including up on the alter and opt to use/not use flash...basically I had free range to whatever I felt was best to capture the ceremony.
2. I could use flash during the walk down the aisle but then do absolutely no shooting during the ceremony.
3. I could shoot during the walk down the aisle but as soon as the party was in, I had to shoot everything else from the back of the church.
4. No shooting was allowed whatsoever during the ceremony.
ETC.....
So finding out what you are allowed to do by the church as well as what is preferred by the couple is very important.
Also, church are notoriously difficult to shoot in...the lighting is low and very yellow. It can be very challenging to get the right white balance. I make every effort to spend substantial time in the church before the ceremony getting familiar with the lighting, bearing in mind that the lighting will change in the church as the day and ceremony progresses.
Good luck!

Frankly, I love Lightroom and find it to be a highly intuitive program. Unlike the other comments here, I encourage to keep your LR edition. If you just loosen up and play with your images on it, you may be tickled and your creative juices flowing seeing the many options for you to create the image as you wish. Good luck.

Denver is a beautiful city with LOADS of stuff going on if you like fairs, free concerts in the parks, walking. I lived there for 14 years. I recommend that as soon as you are there, you ask the locals where you can pick up the Denver Weekly (or something like that). It is a weekly "happenings" sort of newspaper that will list all the activities going on....free or low-cost events, museums, etc. Walking 16th Street in Denver or especially the Pearl Street Mall in nearby Boulder (both outdoor walking malls) will give you loads of people watching opportunities complete with street performers. There are hundreds of miles of paved bike paths and bike rentals all over the city where you can pick up and drop off bikes at different stations. I agree, there is incredible places all over the State but I also want to emphasize that Denver itself is a really great city with many things to do. Have a grand time!

I am selling my original 8.1 megapixel Rebel XT. It served me extremely well for 5 years on countless paid gigs up to 2 years ago when I retired it for another Canon camera. I am pulling it out of storage now to sell so that I can purchase a new lens for my current camera.

This Rebel will come with:
Sigma 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 lens
Sigma 55-200mm 4.0-5.6 lens with sunlight hood
3 camera batteries
1G digital image card
Cords to download images to computer or show on the TV.

I originally purchased all of this equipment for about $1800 7 years ago. I am asking for $540 OBO.

When I was faced with this challenge and could not physically move from my location, I put my lens right up to the fence, changed the settings to all manual and then focused on my subject that was beyond the fencing. The images turned out fairly good. The slight impression of the fence is there but in a barely noticeable artistic fashion. Good luck!

The image of the young woman was taken during a Ladies Tea that one of my wedding clients had as a pre-wedding party with her women friends and family at a real tea house. The ladies were asked to wear hats. The full album can be seen here:
